Terms of Service
Last Updated: January 2026
Acceptance
By using the Tract website or joining our waitlist, you agree to these Terms of Service. When the Tract application becomes available, additional terms may apply.
Current Status
Tract is currently in a validation phase and is not publicly available. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access to the application or any specific features.
Waitlist
By joining our waitlist, you agree to receive occasional email updates about Tract’s development and availability. You may unsubscribe at any time. We will not share your email address with third parties for marketing purposes.
Future Application Terms
When Tract becomes available, the following general terms will apply:
Use of Service
Tract is designed for agricultural management operations. You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You are responsible for all activity under your account and for maintaining the security of your login credentials.
Data Ownership
You own your operational data. Tract provides tools to manage and analyze that data, but does not claim ownership of the information you create or import.
Intellectual Property
Using Tract does not grant you ownership of any intellectual property rights in the application itself — the code, design, and underlying technology remain the property of Tract.
Service Availability
Tract is designed to work offline, but features requiring synchronization depend on server availability. We will make reasonable efforts to maintain service uptime but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access.
Limitation of Liability
The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Agricultural operations involve inherent risks and uncertainties. Tract is a management tool, not a guarantee of outcomes.
To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, Tract (and its affiliates, directors, and employees) will not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
- Loss of profits, data, or business opportunities
- Decisions made based on information displayed in the application
- Compliance failures (you remain responsible for your own regulatory compliance)
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you materially breach these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time and request deletion of your data.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms as the product develops. Material changes will be communicated via email to registered users and waitlist subscribers.
